Family and Friends Camping Weekend at the club. May 10th to 12th.
Please reserve date for Club Family and Friends Camping Weekend. Activities will include Canoeing, Kayaking and Stand Up Paddle Boarding for all abilities.
Saturday evening entertainment from ‘Heart of Oak’
Sunday Dragon Boat Racing.
River Thames Paddle June 7th to 9th
The paddle will run from Reading to Henley on the Saturday (around 10 miles) and Henley to Marlow on Sunday (around 9 miles). So not too challenging with time to enjoy the location and facilities.
Part of the paddle may incorporate a backwater which will have some moving water (c. Grade 2) subject to water levels.
The campsite is a tents only site, which allows camp fires. I am afraid no dogs allowed.
Advance bookings and payments will be required, but for now please indicate if you are interesting in attending and if you are put it in your diary.
Thanks Paul Sharpe

Midsummer Paddle, camp and BBQ Saturday 23rd of June

The campsite is on the river Nene with good facilities and about a 70 minute drive from Loughborough.

The idea is a one night camp, with it being relatively close but if you want to camp Friday it’s not a problem
Caravans and tents are accommodated on the site and Peterborough is close for any non paddlers.
There are several possible routes through nice countryside with plenty to see.
On a fact finding trip we saw red kite, roe deer, kingfishers and skydivers
If intrested please let me know so I can get an idea of numbers.
More details to follow
